Team India for tests with visiting Sri Lanka
The Indian cricket team for the three tests to be played against visitoes Sri Lanka has been announced by thr BCCI selection committee headed by Krishnamachari Srikanth.
Zaheer Khan is back in the team after recovering from injury. Paceman S Sreesanth has been recalled into the team. Bowlers Ashish Nehra and Munaf Patel have been left out. Tamil Nadu opener Murali Vijay and middle-order batsman S Badrinath find a place in the team.
The Indians play the first Test in Ahmedabad from November 16 followed by two more Tests in Kanpur (November 24 to 28) and Mumbai (December 2 to 6). After the Test series, the Sri Lankans will play two Twenty20 matches and five ODIs.
