Ronaldo escapes unhurt in car crash
Manchester United football club’s star winger Cristiano Ronaldo escaped unhurt on Thursday after crashing his Rs 1 crore Ferrari sports car on the way to training.
The car which Ronaldo was driving collided with a roadside barrier in a tunnel near Manchester Airport, badly damaging the vehicle. Police are investigating into the mishap. No other vehicles were involved.
Ronaldo is a Portugal national and is the highest paid footballer at present.
