Record 68 million watched World Cup final
The final match between India and Sri Lanka was watched by 67.6 million people. The number surpassed the number of viewers of Indo – Pak semi-final. 67.3 million watched India – Pakistan match.
Sri Lanka Vs New Zealand semi –final was watched by 32 million viewers. About 53 million watched the India vs Australia quarter-final. 2011 final was the best since 1992 final match. The finals of 1996, 1999, 2003 and 2007 were one-sided.
