Double dhamaka for Leander Paes in US Open

Leander Paes of India reached both the men’s doubles and mixed doubles final in the US Open Tennis grand slam tournament.

The 7th seeded pair of Paes and Czech Lukas Dlouhy defeated unseeded Argentines Maximo Gonzalez and Juan Monaco 6-2, 6-0 on Wednesday to enter the men’s dobles final.

The 35-year-old Paes teamed up with partner Cara Black of Zimbabwe defeated Sweden’s Jonas Bjorkman and Russia’s Nadia Petrova 6-4, 6-4 to enter the mixed doubles final.
