Rahul to become AP bypoll mascot

The state Congress leaders have decided to project Rahul Gandhi in the by-poll campaign to attract youth.
Apart from the photos of Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, UPA chairperson, Sonia Gandhi, Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy and the APCC president, D. Srinivas, that of Rahul Gandhi will be added in the posters. But the main weapon for the Congress will be Rs 2-a-kg rice scheme besides the Indiramma housing scheme, Arogya Sri, pensions, irrigation projects and other developmental activities, according to party sources.
