Pak misusing US Aid for war against India:Barack Obama

In an interview to TV channel Fox News, Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama has said Pakistan is misusing US aid given for the war on terror to prepare for war against India.

According to US government audit reports, US aid worth billions to Pakistan, meant only for the war on terror, has been used by Pakistan’s military rulers to prepare for a confrontation against India.

Obama had taken a hard line against Pakistan reverting into fundamentalism.. He visited Pakistan as a student during the Zia-ul Haq years, when Pakistan began moving towards Islamic fundamentalism. His mother, a liberal who worked for an NGO, lived in Pakistan for five years to monitor aided projects.
