Maharashtra Dy CM resigns
RR Patil, Deputy Chief Minister, Government of Maharashtra, has been shunted out after his casual remarks on the terrorist attack on Mumbai.
Maharashtra governor S C Jamir has accepted the resignation of the Dy CM. Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh had forwarded Patil’s resignation to the Governor.
NCP will elect tomorrow its Maharashtra Legislative party leader who will be the deputy chief minister in place of R R Patil, said party leader Praful Patel.
