Devender Goud calls on Sonia Gandhi

The Congress president, Sonia Gandhi, on Thursday received a delegation on Telangana, led by Nava Telangana Party president, Devender Goud.

The delegation submitted a memorandum to the Congress president to create a separate Telangana and demanded immediate introduction of a Bill to create the state.

Goud reiterated the November 1 deadline for the introduction of the Bill. He said it was essential to get the UPA’s support as it was in a position to introduce the Billl on Telangana.
