Congress leader Shivshankar joins Praja Rajyam

Veteran Congress leader and erstwhile close associate of late Indira Gandhi P Shivshankar officially joined Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam Party.

Shivashankar skipped active politics in 2004 after a tiff with Congress president Sonia Gandhi. He is an advocate and a respected backward class’s leader from Ranga Reddy district.

Shivashankar is expected to render political advice to Chiranjeevi and help him in dealing with other political parties. His son Dr Vinay is already a core committee member of the PRP.
