Congress Core Committee meets on T-Issue

The Congress Core Committee met in Delhi today evening to discuss the Telangana agitation and the indefinite fast by TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao.

The Congress Core Committee was chaired by AICC president Sonia Gandhi and attended by Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, Defence Minister AK Antony, Home Minister P Chidambaram, Law Minister and AP affairs in-charge Veerappa Moily and AICC general secretary Ahmed Patel.

The Core Committee requested KCR to end his indefinite fast.
