Chandrababu Naidu closeted with Left leaders

With Samajwadi Party signaling its closeness towards Congress, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday met top Left party leaders at New Delhi ahead of the crucial UNPA meeting which would finalise its strategy on the nuclear deal issue.
Naidu was closeted with CPM general secretary Prakash Karat, his CPI counterpart AB Bardhan and senior CPM leader Sitaram Yechury at the party headquarters for over seventy-five minutes where the leaders discussed the emerging political scenario on the nuclear deal issue.
The meeting assumed significance as it was held just ahead of the meeting of the seven UNPA constituents here in which a stand on the issue is expected to be taken. TDP, the opposition party in Congress-ruled Andhra Pradesh is toeing the line taken by the Left on the nuclear deal.
