AP Cabinet asks for CBI probe into Moddu Srinu murder
The Cabinet of the Government of Andhra Pradesh met in Hyderabad today and decided to refer the murder of Moddu Srinu in the Ananthapur Jail to the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI).
The cabinet resolution stated that it will approach CBI as the agency was already investigating the murder of Paritala Ravindra TDP MLA, wherein Srinu was the main accused.
Meanwhile, wife of the deceased Srinu demanded a re-postmortem and approached the State Human Rights Commission, who have written to the AP High Court in this regard.
