
2nd Test match between India and NZ drawn
A tenacious Team India has drawn the 2nd Test against New Zealand when they scored 476 for 4 in their second innings on the fifth day at Hamilton Park, Napier.
Centurions Gautam Gamhir(137) and VVS Laxman (124 not out) guided India to the safety of an honourable draw, thus keeping alive the prospect of a test series win against New Zealand in their home turf after a long hiatus of forty years.
Sachin Tendulkar (64) and Yuvraj Singh (54 not out) made useful contributions to the Indian fight back.
