India wins Test series against England

India won the two-match test series against England after the second test ended in a draw at Mohali on Tuesday.

Indian opening batsman Gautam Gambhir missed out on scoring hundreds in both innings. He top-scored with 179 in the first innings and fell for 97 before India declared their second innings at the score of 251 for 7 after lunch setting an improbable victory target of 403 in 43 overs.

Gautam Gambhir was declared the man of the match and Zaheer Khan as man of the series.
