Veteran actor Kantha Rao hospitalized

86 year old veteran Tollywood actor Kantha Rao had been suffering from age related ill-health problems since sometime. According to reports, his health deteriorated further and he has been rushed to Yashoda Hospital, Secunderabad where he has been admitted. His condition is stated to be critical.

Kantha Rao, who is known for his mythological roles, acted in more than 70 films as a solo hero. To his credit, he carried his films on his able shoulders, in spite of the strong presence of NTR and ANR. He has acted in more than 400 films in Telugu and Tamil. He also produced films in the later part of his career.
