Venkat Prabhu’s film with Karthi titled Biryani
Tamil director Venkat Prabhu shot into reckoning with his debut film Chennai 600028 with newcomers. It featured gully cricket and was a sleeper hit. Then he made Saroja which did well in both Tamil and Telugu.
A confident Venkat made a road movie Goa with the tagline A Venkat Prabhu Holiday. Then he made Mankatha with Ajith (Gambler in Telugu) with the Tagline A Venkat Prabhu Game. Now he is making a film titled Biryani with Karthi and it has a tagline A Venkat Prabhu Diet.
Venkat Prabhu is a cousin of music director Yuvan Shankar Raja and music for all his films has been scored by him. The young director also has a set of actors — Premji, Jai, Shiva, Vaibhav and Sampath Raj— who are seen in all his films.
