Salman Khan’s “Veer” releasing on January 22
After the super-success of “Wanted” a remake of Telugu film “Pokiri” , Salman Khan is coming back with more strength and vigour. In this film he plays a warrior, something like the “Gladiator” or “Dharam Veer”.
“Veer” has a British setting but starts in early 18th century India when the foreigners were enslaving the country and capturing several territories. Salman Khan plays a warrior from the Pindari community who would fight till the last breath to save their motherland.
Zarine Khan, who plays the female lead, bears a striking resemblance of Salman Khan’s girlfriend Katrina Kaif. Even the other actress Lisa Lazarus comes too close to Katrina Kaif.
The film “Veer” is directed by Anil Sharma, who earlier made the epic “Gadar Ek Prem Katha”.
