Rani refuses Bansali’s offer
Rani Mukherji has refused Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s offer to star in hisforthcoming film, Chenab Gandhi. Rani and Bansali have made a critically acclaimed film Black earlier They also worked together in Saawariya, with Rani making a special appearance in the film.
The sensitive filmmaker was extremely hurt when Rani turned down the offer.
Chenab Gandhi, Bhansali’s production, is to be directed by his long-time assistant Vibhu Puri. The film stars Harman Baweja opposite Vidya Balan, and Amitabh Bachchan in a very important role. Bhansali approached Rani for a significant cameo in the film but when she refused the offer.
