Public revolt against black cinema ticket sale
There was lot of commotion and tension at Konark theatre in Dilsukhnagar in Hyderabad on Sunday when filmgoers attacked the theatre employees for selling tickets in black.
Hundreds of film enthusiasts came to the cinema hall around 5 p.m. for watching the Telugu film Arundhati.
The staffers allegedly started selling tickets in black after issuing to only a few persons at the counters following which audience picked up an argument with them. Some of them even attacked staffers for not selling tickets at the counters.
The police intervened and brought the situation under control.
