Priyanka Chopra wins National Award

The 56th National Film Awards have been announced for the year 2008. Priyanka Chopra wins the Best Actress Award for her role in fashion. The Telugu film “1940 Lo Oka Gramam” has won the Best Film Award in the regional category.

Best Film on Family values: ‘Little Zizou’ (English, Gujarati) Best

Children’s Film Award: Kannada film Gubbachigalu

Best Child Artist: Master Shams Patel for his role in Hindi film ‘Thanks Maa’.

The Special Jury Award: Malayalam film ‘Bioscope’
