"Kites" to premier on TV soon

Hrithik Roshan-Barbara Mori-starrer “Kites” is all set for a TV premiere soon within a month of its release. The film is still running in multiplexes but Colors channel, which had obtained the TV rights of the movie, will be screening “Kites” on June 27.
TheColors channel had previously shown high-profile films like “Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani” and “Blue” within months of their release.
Produced by Rakesh Roshan and distributed by Reliance BIG Pictures, it was among the most awaited films of the year, and released worldwide May 21. But, despite a grand opening, the film failed to rise up to the expectations of critics and viewers.
