
Gurinder Chadha’s It
London based film maker Gurinder Chadha who enthralled the audience with films like Bride & Prejudice (2004) and Bend It Like Beckham (2002) is now all set make her 13th directorial venture titled It’s A Wonderful Afterlife.
The Indian Film Company and Bend It Films have entered into a strategic partnership with Studio 18, India’s leading motion picture company, to produce this film with a budget of $ 10 Million.
Chadha described this film as something that happens when My Big Fat Greek Wedding meets Shaun of the Dead.
The story follows a British-Asian mother whose obsession to marry off her daughter comically leads to serial murder. The film will have a cross cultural cast and predominantly British crew.
