Deepika and Kareena in Billo Barber

Billo Barber is a remake of the Malayalam film Kadha Parayumbol. The lead roles were played by. Mammootty and Sreenivasan. In the Hindi version, directed by Priyadarshan, the title role is played by Irrfan Khan and Shah Rukh Khan plays a superstar called Saahil Khan. The theme of the film is inspired by the mythical friendship between Lord Krishna and Sudama but done in a completely contemporary context.

Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor have been roped in by SRK to play cameos in Billo Barber. The film is getting ready for Divali release.

Rcecently, the Telugu and Tamil remakes of the Malayalam film, titled Kathanayakudu and Kuselan respectively, have been made in the direction of P Vasu with Rajinikanth in the super star role. Both the films bombed at the box office.
