Big B’s “Paa” grosses Rs 35 Cr
The film “Paa”, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Vidya Balan, has been made with a small budget of Rs 14.5 Cr was released on December 4 to a weak opening but soon picked up both in the Indian and International market to gross Rs 35 Cr until December 12.
Amitabh played the role of a 12 year old boy Auro who suffers from a rare genetic disease progeria in this film which is produced by Big B’s production house AB Corp and directed by R Balakrishnan (Balki) who earlier made “Cheeni Kum” with Amitabh Bachchan and Tabu.
With audio and satellite rights the film “Paa”, which is still in theatres, is expected to make a decent profit.
