Audiographer H Sridhar passes away

South Indian film industry lost a stalwart of audiography in the sudden demise of H Sridhar. He had been known to be a master of his craft pioneering digital sound in India and a preferred technician of maestro AR Rahman.

He was the sound engineer for films like Roja, Rangeela, Satya, Jeans, Khusi, Sakhi, Jodha Akbaar and others. He won national award for audiography on four occasions for films Mahanadi, Dil Se, Amritha and Lagaan.

According reports, Sridhar suffered a massive cardiac arrest and succumbed to it.
