Amrita Rao becomes Bollywood lucky mascot
The Telugu audience would remember the ebullient performance of actress Amrita Rao in Mahash Babu’s Athidhi.
Amrita is now considered as a lucky mascot by many actors in Bollywood. The reason is her track record. She proved lucky for Vivek Oberoi in Masti, for Shahid Kapoor in Ishq Vishq and Vivaah and for Zayed Khan in Main Hoon Na.
The latest is Shreyas Talpade, who tasted commercial success after Nagesh Kukunoor’s Iqbal with Shyam Benegal’s recently released film Welcome to Sajjanpur with Amrita Rao.
The buzz is Amrita is now flooded with offer after offer as many actors want to pair with Amrita and the producers want box-office hits.
Amrita Rao has been signed on for a meaty role in Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s new film The Legend of Kunal, where the star cast includes Amitabh Bachchan, Arjun Rampal and Tabu.
