Acid Factory is a skillfully created thriller that is presented stylishly with superb action scenes with suspense making the narration more interesting.

The Synopsis

Acid Factory Hindi Movie Review

This is the story of six men and a woman enacted by Fardeen Khan, Aftab Shivdasani, Dino Morea, Manoj Bajpayee, Danny Denzongpa, Dia Mirza and Irrfan Khan.

Fardeen Khan finds himself waking up in an acid factory and he has lost his memory because of the chemical fumes. He also finds Aftab Shivdasani, Dino Morea, Manoj Bajpayee, Danny Denzongpa, Dia Mirza in the same premises also suffering from amnesia.

The plot reveals that two of the five people have been kidnapped by the other three. But know one knows who kidnapped whom. The suspense builds up from then on. Meanwhile, a police officer (Gulshan Grover) is searching for a missing crook (Irrfan Khan). Even his wife (Neha) is trying to find him.

As the thrilling plot unfolds, the narration reaches a chilling climax.

Acid Factory Hindi Movie Review

to the hilt while Dia Mirza is the surprise package giving good performance. Fardeen Khan, Aftab Shivdasani and Dino Morea justify their roles and look convincing. Neha does a less important cameo. All others are more than adequate in their roles.

The Techniques

Suparn Verma, who made his directorial debut with Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena has come out with a slick and stylish Acid Factory which has a very interesting plot that is revealed in a thrilling fashion. The screenplay is absorbing and the characters have been delineated carefully. The directed earlier has written script and screen play for Ugly Aur Pagli, Janasheen and Qayamat.

Acid Factory Hindi Movie Review

Music by Shamir Tandon Manasi Scott, Gourov Dasgupta, Bappi Lahiri and Ranjit Barot is good. Sahil Kapoor’s cinematography is of international standards. Sound design by Resul Pookutty is classic. Costume designs by Shantanu, Nikhil and Shaheed Aamir are stylish and fashionable. Tinu Verma’s action choreography is thrilling.

The Verdict

Acid Factory is inspired by Hollywood films Saw by James Wan (2004) and also Unknown (2006). But director Suparn Verma comes out with a superb thriller with an Indian touch and this thriller is worth watching.
