Abdul Kalam makes screen debut

Former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam will be seen on the silver screen for the first time in the film “I Am Kalam”, an Indo-French collaborative production with participation from UNICEF. The film is being directed by Madhav Panda.

The film is about a young boy’s dream who gets inspired after listening to a speech delivered by Kalam. The boy is guided in achieving his dream by a good Samaritan played by Gulshan Grover.

After being approached for a cameo in the film, Abdul Kalam graciously consented and participated in the shooting of the film.
