Aamir Khan in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 3 Idiots

Aamir Khan signed a contract to act in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s film titled 3 Idiots to be directed by Rajkumar Hirani of Munnabhai fame. Interestingly the contract signed by Aamir Khan Runs upto 25 pages with detailed clauses of what should be done and what should not be done. A special clause also stated that Aamir should not interfere in the filmmaking process. In the past, Aamir has been known to meddle with the film’s script. He did the same to Gajini.

The film 3 Idiots also stars Kareena Kapoor, Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Boman Irani. Based on the best seller Five Point Someone by Chetan Bhagat, 3 Idiots tells the story of three IIT graduates.

The shooting of the film is scheduled to start in this month. It is planned for a January 2009 release.
