7th Asian Film Festival starts from October 16

The 7th Asian Film Festival will be held in Mumbai from October 16 to 23 and will showcase 80 films, from 20 Asian countries, which will be screened at Y B Chavan centre, Plaza Cinema, Dadar and Fun Republic, Andheri.

Aamir Khan will be felicitated for his contribution to cinema and for his directorial debut Taare Zameen Par which has been selected to represent India at the Oscars in the Foreign Film category.

Madhur Bhandarkar, who won the National Award for Best Director for all his three films, will also be felicitated for his achievements.
