Manjula, sister of Mahesh Babu, is producing a film titled Poison under the banner of Indira productions. This is a woman-centric film. This is the second film being produced by Manjula after Show.

Manjula is acting along with Charmi in this film as the principal female leads. Indrajith and Shashank play the male leads.

VK Prakash is directing this film. Shyam K Dutt is handling the camera and Manu is scoring the music.

The shooting started on October 20 and will be completed in 45 days. This film is said to be inspired by the Hollywood film Poison Ivy.
