Tata’s 1 Lakh Nano rolls out in October

Sandipan Chakravortty, MD, Tata Ryerson said on Friday that the Tata small car Nano will roll out in October from the Singur factory. Tata Ryerson is one of the key component manufacturers of Rs 1 lakh car, Nano.

Speaking on the sidelines of an event organized by Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), he added, “To the worst of circumstances, some components would be assembled from factories in other states”.

Chakravortty also said it is hoping the factory of Tata Ryerson would be operational by August, if the rain does not hinder the work.
