
Pietersen tops IPL 2nd edition auction
Kevin Pietersen and Andrew Flintoff became the top bids in the IPL 2nd edition auctions held in Goa yesterday. Pietersen was bought by Bangalore Royal Challengers for Rs 7.35 crore ($1.55 mn) and Flintoff has been bagged by Chennai Super Kings for the same price. Pieterson and Flintoff got Rs 1.35 crore more than what Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni got in the first edition.
